Answer: The Scotchgard™ Rug & Carpet Protector will not harm jute carpet, However, Jute is a natural fiber that needs no added protection. We would recommend that you follow the Jute rug manufacturer recommendations. -
Question: Can I use it on my bed pillows?
Answer: This product is designed for use on rug and carpets. For pillows we would recommend that the Scotchgard Fabric Water Shield be used. -
Question: How much of an area will one can cover? Assuming you use as directed (or a little over)

Question: Can this be used on a 65% wool / 35% viscose blend rug?
Answer: I’m not sure about that, but what I do know is that 4 of the cans I ordered did not work correctly & would not spray right & couldn’t be used. -
Question: Can you use on commercial clean only wool carpet?
Answer: It does not work on my bamboo fiber rug. I tried one area with one can. Still have 5 cans. It could not return. Waste money. -

Question: Will this be ok for use on a Turkish handmade wool rug?
Answer: Great question! Scotchgard Rug & Carpet Protector can be used on wool as long as it's wool that can be cleaned with water. It should never be used on white wool rugs. Use on white wool could cause a discoloration. Always perform a colorfast test in an inconspicuous area. Please be mindful, if it has many colors the rug may experience dye bleed after application. If it's dry clean only then it should not be used.
