Answer: We found that if used as directed it was effective from the very first treatment -

Answer: I definitely used it in our toilets because fruit flies can come up the drain or anywhere that has access to the house if you are infested. I told this to another person but if you are needing the fruit fly mixture for an infestation, also consider opening your sewer if it is possible if you have a private sewer, and spraying Black Flag insect spray in it. Harris is great but you also have to use vigilance and not leaving fruit out or anything that would attract them. Tonight cored apples to bake and I definitely would not leave Apple cores in my garbage can, I wrap them up, and immediately take them outside to our container. I am a housefly, fruit fly, and ant patroller. Once any of these take hold of your house, it becomes an epidemic real quick! Good luck. Hope you didn't mind all the extra stuff I wrote. I went through house fly torment for 2 seasons, till we knocked them down. -
