Question: Does this have Magnesium Stearate in it?
Answer: For more than 30 years, Thorne has invested in clean manufacturing practices. They refuse to use magnesium stearate or any other ingredients that can inhibit absorption - even though this decision makes the manufacturing process more difficult. They perform the final production in the United States. Their Summerville, South Carolina facility is third-party certified. Thorne has an exemplary record of compliance with the Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), set by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The manufacturing facility, warehouses, and shipping centers are regularly inspected and have passed every inspection without issuance of an FDA Form 483. Thorne received an A1 rating from Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration, widely recognized as the toughest regulatory agency in the world. Answer: Women’s Multi 50+ does not contain iron because those women who are beyond their childbearing years and who are no longer having a menstrual cycle are not at high risk for being deficient in iron. -
Question: Do all of your multi-vitamins have iodine? Trying to find one without iodine!
Answer: Thorne does not currently carry a multi-vitamin/mineral formula that does not include iodine. -

Answer: No, Thorne Women's Multi 50+ does not contain any ingredients derived from shellfish. When any Thorne product does contain any of the nine primary allergens (wheat, soy, fish, shellfish, eggs, milk, tree nuts, peanuts, and sesame), their presence is listed on the product label and on the product listing. The allergy warning section of Thorne Women's Multi 50+ states: "This product is contraindicated in an individual with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients.Iodine may occasionally cause an allergic reaction in some individuals."
