      Answer: Not recommended
    • Question: How deep is the dish? I have purchased the divided plate, and the sections were way tooshallow for me. Thank you in advance!

      Answer: I had a non-divided plate but no longer have it so I don't know the exact answer, but it was about 2" deep and I used extensively, finding t very useful as I have hand mobility problems.

    Nice concept but fails in practice
    Appears to be well made. Too soon to say how durable this article is. (Other reviewers have commented that durability is problematic.) Scooped lip works well if you’re sighted and can reasonably handle a fork and spoon. I satisfy both criteria. My wife has Parkinson’s and macular degeneration. As a result, this dish doesn’t work for her. The red color is of no help. A heavy-duty Dixie paper plate with a raised curved edge works as well for her. One thing I noticed is that stainless steel utensils slip into the dish when I attempt to rest them on the scoop dish. This leads to messy utensils. When that happens, my wife has to fish the utensil out of her food.

    Just what my brother needed!
    My brother is physically disabled and has some trouble while eating. This plate helps him scoop up food and makes for less of a mess. Only wish they had more colors to choose from.

    Broken plates
    The plates themselves are quite useful and well made. Unfortunately, two of them arrived in pieces, and there was no way to contact the company for replacements.

    Helpful for Alzheimer's Patient
    I bought this bowl and a matching plate for my dad who has Alzheimer's. The red color made it easier for him to see his food on the plate, plus the scooped side made it easier for him to get food to stay on his spoon and not fall off so easily. It was easy to clean, didn't look any different after repeated dishwasher runs, and I never had to worry about breakage if he knocked it off the table. It was really a great help for my dad.

    Accessibility!!
    I work with a person who has issues with fine motor skills and this plate has helped her be able to eat without spilling food off the plate. It does slide a bit but using plate mats relieves that problem. This has been great in giving her more independence while eating and has made her very happy!

    FEEDING THEMSELVES
    A Special Needs child gain more independence when they are able to feed themselves and this plate gives them that ability to move toward being more independent.
