Question: I dont see a silver adjustment button, where is it?!
Answer: It DOES have a button for the length adjustment. Great cane and the foot is large enough for the cane to stand erect without holding. -
Question: I pulled down the lower cane, but i dont see a silver adjustment button!
Answer: Once the cane is put together it does not adjust. It is a very high quality cane I would recommend it -
Question: Can you put a simple rubber tip on instead of quad base?
Answer: I suppose you could, but why bother? Just buy a cheaper cane with a simple tip. The whole point of this cane bottom is so you can stand it up and it won't fall over. Lets you have a hand free momentarily or park the cane while you enjoy a meal without worrying if it will fall somewhere you can't bend over to reach -
Question: Can this can be used for a person 5'3"?
Answer: I’m not sure as I returned it as the stability of the cane was lacking. -
Question: Is this strong for someone 300 lbs.?
Answer: To the best of my knowledge, it should be strong enough for a 300 lb. person yo use. It is very sturdy. My husband was 265 lbs. when he used it. -
Question: How do you tighten it--handle seems to swivel 360 degrees?
Answer: There are areas on the cane you can tighten by turning - I do not have this problem. -
Question: Does the head pivot
Answer: No, the head does not pivot. -
Question: Is there a different heas attachment that makes it more stable?? This cane wants to fall to the side.
Answer: My cane stands on its own pretty well-both on rugs and flooring. There are other canes that have a wider base--that might help?
