Question: Does this thermometer also measure in fahrenheit?
Answer: Hi there, The factory setting of the digital thermometer is Fahrenheit, if you want to convert to Celsius: During off status, press and hold the on/off button for about 3 seconds, and when you hear the "BI", Immediately press the button again. -

Question: Is this product Latex free?
Answer: This product is latex free. -
Question: Does it have mercury inside?
Answer: I am not 100% sure that it does not have mercury but believe that its description and packaging would need to alert you to that. Many states have banned the use of mercury and I think most digital thermometers do not use mercury and the batteries used do not contain mercury. You could look up the manufacturer online and check with them. -
Question: Does the thermometer stop measuring after 10 seconds? If 2 minutes - temp then or just the temp after 10 seconds?
Answer: LCD will stop flashing, and you will hear buzzes in approx 10 seconds. The tested temperature is shown on LCD. The thermometer will automatically turnoff in about 10 minutes for energy saving. However, to prolong the battery life, it is suggested to press On/Off button to turn the thermometer off once the test is finished. -
Question: How long does battery last and how do you change it?
Answer: Apparently not very long. I've only had it four months and it's dead. Not even worth trying to find a battery. All the other brands bought at the same time are still working except this one. -

Answer: How long did you wait? It takes at least 4 times longer to get a reading compared to other thermometers. I won’t buy this one again.
