Question: Where is this made?
Answer: It is proudly made in the USA! -
Question: Can it be used for bed ridden elderly ?
Answer: You need to be standing up/squatting to use it, so I wouldn't think so. (If you were laying down while using it, urine would just pool up and then spill over on you, since the device requires gravity to work). Maybe if the person could sit up with legs over the bed side, and then aim it into a container? But the device itself would probably be very uncomfortable to sit on like that, so unfortunately, I just don't think it would work for one who is bed-ridden. It's primary use it to move the urine stream further from one's pants & feet while standing/squatting. -
Question: How much pee does it hold?
Answer: It does not hold the pee. It makes it possible to stand and per when toilets aren’t available or if the available ones are dirty and you don’t want to sit. Its like you are a guy!! The pee is funneled away from your body to either the ground, the toilet or you could collect it in a cup to dump elsewhere. -

Question: Would this be suitable for young girls, age 5?
Answer: Yes, we have used it with our granddaughter at the age of 3! You may have to help them the first couple of tries just to show how to place it. -
Question: Could this be turned around and used by an elderly male to urinate sitting doen?
Answer: I don't think it would work for this purpose. If you turned it around, the spout would flatten under you when sitting. -
Question: what material makes up the soft lining?
Answer: It is a medical grade plastic, it is not silicone or latex. -
Question: Does it completely drain the bladder
Answer: To be honest, this is simply a conduit to carry the urine away from your body. Emptying the bladder comes from you, not the Tinkle Belle, so if you already have difficulty emptying your bladder this won't help you. If you plan to use it in the middle of the night because walking to the bathroom is difficult for you then I do think it would be helpful. Probably the hardest thing to get used to when using it is trusting it to carry the urine away from the body. As women, we are used to sitting or squatting when peeing. Keep a towel handy and practice with it. Good luck! -
Question: could one use this to pre in a bottle ?
Answer: If you felt funny about peeing in the woods or in the water(the way guys do) then yes, you can use a bottle as urine receptical. I'd advise using a wide mouth bottle if possible, like a Gatorade bottle, simply to make it easier. You could use this method if on a long car trip and don't feel like stopping at a rest stop. I'd probably practice first, just in case.
