Answer: Yes, the chemicals in these packs are C.A.N. -
Question: What are they made of
Answer: What makes them cold is a reaction; there is a little pouch of water in the pack that needs to be broken and mixed with the CAN in order for the reaction to occur. When you fold the pack in two to activate it, it pops that pouch and mixes the contents. -
Question: How do you properly dispose of used packets? Directions just say " Dispose of used pack in proper receptacle" but doesn't define "proper recepticle."
Answer: You can dispose of these Instant Ice Packs in your regular trash, just as long as it is not in the recycling bin or any bins for biodegradable garbage. -
Question: Does the packaging say "keep out of the reach of children"?
Answer: Yes but in small type in the “Warning” section the the back of the ice pack.
