    • Question: Would have the holder allow for letter writing since I already have the magnifier?

      Answer: The holder locks the magnifier in a horizontal position about 3 inches above the surface it is on. I tried this and found it to be very awkward to manipulate a pen or pencil held part way under it. There is not enough room left to get the pen and your angle of vision to what you are writing to be comfortable. I think I would look for other magnification systems to be able to write with an enlarged image. A head magnifier of low power comes to mind.

    This channel is what it says. FOR REAL and the price is right
    It does what it says. I had a vacuum based rubber jawed vice plus a round magnifier that set was sort of similar in function. They worked quite well for doing art and reading small stuff down to PC board sizes. THIS rig (with the well lit rectangular magnifier WITH the handle) is Much Better at half the price.

    great addition to hand held magnifier
    this stand enables the magnifier to be hands free, which is a great concept. I deducted one star as the legs to raise it up a bit are very difficult for arthritic hands to adjust.

    Don't know anything about it yet, as going to my brother for a birthday gift !
    I don't know if it will work or not, to help my brother, with his bad eye's or not. As I'm sending to him, for his birthday 🎂 ! I hope it will help along with 1 of your magnitfieding glass !

    Very convenient for hands-free operation on a level surface
    Easy to attach and detach. Balance is slightly precarious.

    Just what I needed
    This stand is a great addition to my MagniPros Magnifier. I use it to store my magnifier when not using it. It is also useful as a handsfree holder. One thing that I think could be improved are the adjustable feet. They are weak. They tend to push back in unattendedly. Not a worry if you just don't use them. By the way, make sure you push your magnifier into the stand all the way or it will tip over.

    Unstable
    It’s a nice two position heavy stand for your magnifying glass light but it’s unstable at times depending on how you are using it. If you anchor the base against something it works much better.
