Answer: This I don't know. I do know that a friend is working with a lab who has tested over 25 products and Real Mushrooms is only at 0.5 mg of advertised potency. The name of the lab is not being shared with me as they will be bringing a product to market. -

Answer: I don't know but I can tell you that a friend who now has his own product had a lab analyze Real Mushroom's L-Ergothioneine content and it is not as advertised; it was among many brands tested who too did not measure up to their claims. Meaning, Real Mushrooms was not singled out, they were simply part of a panel of products tested and analyzed who were all found to be deficient in their claimed/advertised L-Ergothioneine content. -
Question: How much do of Zinc does it provide?
Answer: Hello, Generally speaking, mushrooms are roughly 25% protein, 58% carbohydrates, and 3% fat. The rest is vitamins and minerals. 1 gram would be around 3-4 calories. Question: Does the 5 mg of ergo from this capsule meet the ergo benefits from eating 18 gms of mushrooms daily as discussed in the news lately?
Answer: There are many benefits associated with the components of mushrooms aside from the ergothioneine. These include a variety of beneficial compounds, including those called beta glucans. That said, the ergothioineine content varies within and between mushroom varieties, so it is good to consume ergothioneine as a separate nutritional supplement separately or in conjunction with various mushrooms or mushroom supplements. -
Question: Are there any fillers?

Question: So what's with the prop 65 cancer warning on the bottle?
Answer: Hello, The key thing to understand with heavy metals is that we are consuming them every day. The food and water we put in our bodies every day will have trace amounts of heavy metals like lead. It's the amount of those metals and the dosage that can be an issue. What is Prop 65? Proposition 65 or Prop 65 is a state of California law that mandates warning labels on all products sold in California if they contain chemicals in concentrations that may increase the risk of cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. There are 800 chemicals on the list and the states established allowable limits are far below what is allowable outside of California. As a result, companies are required to disclose when these chemicals are present in their products in any amount above the maximum allowable limit. CA Prop 65 has been very controversial as the limits set by California are in some cases magnitudes lower than limits set by the FDA, The World Health Organization, or Health Canada. Our products all meet the heavy metal limits set by CA Prop 65. One particular example is coffee. The compound acrylamide is found in coffee and is a byproduct of the coffee bean roasting process. Acrylamide is listed in Prop 65 so any coffee product that wants to sell in California needs to have a Prop 65 warning. You can imagine the confusion as many of us drink multiple cups of coffee a day. In 2019, OEHHA said that coffee did not contain enough acrylamide to warrant a warning, and the FDA found the coffee Prop 65 labeling “would do more to confuse consumers than to inform them.” They went on to say that it violated the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act[4]. Real Mushrooms has rigorous supply chain controls and robust testing programs to ensure the quality and safety of our mushroom extracts. Consistent with prudent industry practices, our production routinely tests for the Prop 65 listed chemicals of concern, including lead, cadmium, arsenic, and mercury.
