      Answer: The salt is a food grade extra course salt I believe the key is food grad
    • Question: can I use this salt in a small portable rv water softener?

      Answer: You could but it will not do well as it’s designed to dissolve slowly therefore it will not perform as expected.

    Good dishwasher salt
    It does what is says it does, it is salt for dishwashers with a built in water softener. I recommend it for use in a Bosch dishwasher.

    bag was opened
    The bag that held the salt was inside a bag and when I opened it I found the bag that had the salt in it had slits in both ends of the bag. needless to say I had salt every where.
