    • Question: What temperature does it heat to?

      Answer: Not sure what the temperature setting is but, seriously, it's not unbearable. It's hot but it only lasts for three seconds. It's worth the three second heat for the results!
    • Question: Does it work a day after a bite?

      Answer: Yes, I tried on couple day old bites and it dud remove the itching right away and provide relief if you can just stand the 3sec heat sting, twice in a row. That works for me better that days of constant itching and swollen
    • Question: What kind of battery is needed?

      Answer: The unit uses 2 - AAA alkaline batteries (any brand).
    • Question: how do select 3 second or 6 second? (no instructions were included, or batteries)

      Answer: I guess it depends on the severity or itchy if ur bug bite. I always use the 6 second setting to make sure I zap it well! It does sting, make no mistake about it, and I guess you have to determine if u can stand it for the full 6 seconds....if not, opt for 3. In any event, this device is the BOMB!
    • Question: I dont understand. So there is a ceramic plate that heats up to 122° and it breaks down the venom. Is that all there is to it?

      Answer: Mosquitoes mouths contain an ingredient that stops your blood from coagulating so they can suck out a bit of blood. This ingredient causes our bodies to have allergic reactions. Heat can describe the ingredient so this product should work. I am getting one myself because I have bites this summer that are just crazy itchy. You can do this treatment with a wash cloth and the hottest water you can tolerate. Hard to carry hot water around though. It works better the faster you supply the heat. This gadget sounds credible to me.
    • Question: Will this work on tick bites?

    • Question: How many times it can be used before battery power runs out?

      Answer: Mine lasted about 6 months before I replaced them. But we also live in Florida so it gets used a lot. The replacement batteries have been good about 8 months so far.
    • Question: Is this fda-cleared, and dermatologist-tested? thanks

      Answer: The unit is FDA approved and it does have skin sensitivity testing.
    • Question: Anyone ever use this on your face? I tend to get dark spots on my skin where a bite heals, so I'm wary this device might burn the scars into my face.

      Answer: Have never tried on my face. If I ever do, I think I would do it on the side....not front and center. Guess it depends where the bite is!
    • Question: Can this be returned if I don't like it?

      Answer: You will like it, no doubt about it.

    Efficient solution
    It really helps. Very good quality product, batteries are included so you don’t have to charge it every time. The size is perfect so it will in your pocket if needed. Heat level is fine, you just need to get used to it, but after it, the itching will stop. Mosquitos bites used to last me a few days, not anymore. Highly recommend.

    It actually works!
    I was skeptical but also desperate having been bit by bugs all over. The itching was unbearable. It stings for a bit when applying heat but it’s much better than being itchy nonstop and the bites stop itching immediately. Highly recommended.
