Question: How much weight can it pick up?
Answer: a can of veggies but squeeze it firmly -
Question: Diameter of opening?
Answer: THE LARGEST I USE IT FOR IS A REGULAR CAN OF VEGETABLES, I DON'T BELIEVE IT CAN BE USED FOR ANYTHING MUCH BIGGER. -
Question: Can it pick up a cell phone?
Answer: Yes, this grabber can pick up a cell phone with ease:) I would not recommend picking up a cell phone made before 2000… -
Question: Manufacturer: What's the maximum weight it can pick up before the arm breaks?
Answer: Have no idea how much weight the maximum would be. Not like I'm going to keep lifting heavier and heavier objects to figure it out. It will pick up at least a can of soup for sure is all I know. -
Question: My suv’s rear gate raises very high, can’t reach without step stool. can i use this to grab and lower?
Answer: Perhaps you should see if the rear gate height is adjustable! Most newer models are! If not, perhaps a rubber stopper could be placed between the hinge arm and frame. -
Question: Does it have a magnetic tip?
Answer: No magnetic tip. Has nice strong grip. -
Question: Holds up to ? lbs ?
Answer: Don't know what the max is, and not willing to break it testing what it can hold. But I can say that I've picked up a full 28 oz bottle of Gatorade with it. -
Question: Will this pick up very small weeds from a garden ?
Answer: Possibly. I haven't used it outside yet but I have been able to pick up a piece of paper and a dead leaf. I think it would pick up the weeds if they were already pulled but I'm not sure it would grip tight enough to pull them. -
Question: Can you adjust the length to be shorter?
Answer: The length is not adjustable.
