Question: I don't need them every day. How long will package last, expiration date?
Answer: They would depend on the lot your order draws from, as well as storage before and after you receive them. My order came a month or two ago with package expiration date of 5/11/2024. They come in a self-closing foil packet. I keep all supplements and herbs in closed containers in a cool dry pantry. -
Question: What is the listed ingredient modified food starch? what is the source of the (mfs)? if it wheat, corn, tapioca?
Answer: In order to be gluten free it cannot contain wheat, barley or rye. That means wheat in any form. -
Question: Gluten is just one of several harmful proteins in wheat. Does this product's modified food starch have wheat in it?
Answer: In order to say it is gluten free it would have to be completely free of wheat, barley or rye. So the modified food starch could not contain wheat. -
Question: On the invoice of the delivery box, 5htp is... please delete it. there might be a problem with customs clearance.
Answer: I'm not sure if this is a question, and only the company can answer this type anyway -
Question: Does this product contain wheat or be cross contaminated with wheat?
Answer: The package says free of sugar, soy, dairy, yeast and gluten. -

Answer: Originally they sold a great soft-gel pill that was ONLY 5HTP, but now this brand ONLY sells gel-caps with the combo of 5HTP and Chamomile. Very disappointing, as the originals were THE VERY BEST I'd ever bought. -
Question: Is this sourced and made in USA?
Answer: The supplement comes from the seeds of a plant grown in Western Africa, so most likely that is where the source derives from. -
Question: I would have love to purchase this product. Why does it have to contains silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate?
Answer: Hey there, both silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate are natual materials that are used in LOTS of items. I don't worry about them at all - and this is my favorite 5-HTP brand! -
Question: Can the softgel be cut in half?
Answer: They are capsules, not softgels. You could separate the halves and pour half out into an empty capsule or a glass of water. -
Question: Why magnesium Sterate? A hardened oil
Answer: Maybe to stabilize? I missed seeing that when I bought the product . I took the product 2x - threw up 2x and threw the bag in the garbage.
