Answer: Dear customer, About heat to gel ice packs: HOT WATER: you can put this gel packs in boiling water for approximately 3-8 min. DON'T apply directly to skin. Answer: in the fridge or freezer so what they’re ready when you need them. Permanent storage I would wrap in paper. mine have been in the freezer since I got them a year ago. -
