Question: Would the 18 by 24 be a good size to protect a chair or sofa seat where a 230# male sits? It is to protect from depends leaks. Thank you.
Answer: It depends on how wide and deep your chair/sofa cushions are. The 18 by 24 should work but you may not be able to tuck in the pad around the cushion so the pad would always be shifting. I use the 34 by 36 pad on my chairs and sofa cushions (they are a little big) but it allows for plenty of pad to tuck in around the chair seat or cushion. I really wish they made a 24 by 24 pad as it would work very well. Otherwise, these pads are great and worth the price. Very good quality, absorbent and wash well. -

Answer: These were made in the USA which I consider a plus!!
