Answer: Yes, it's safe on tinted windows and works great for cleaning. All of our vehicles have tinted windows and no issues. -
Question: Does it remove the previous layer of rain-x and leave the glass rain-x free?
Answer: We actually use it to clean other items, not the windshield...works well - feels like it removes the previous layer. -
Question: What are the active ingredients?
Answer: Rain-X's primary active ingredient are polysiloxanes, the primary one being hydroxy-terminated polydimethylsiloxane. The polysiloxanes have functional groups that bind to the hydroxyl group of the glass surface. -
Question: Can you use this on glass shower doors?
Answer: Yes, it works nicely on them to sheet off the water. If you’re trying to get soap scum off with it, it’s not good for that alone. Before you use it, wash the door off with Dawn dishwashing detergent first, then use it. Looks great! (I have a house cleaning business; best way to do it). 👍😊
