Question: How do these compare to the swiffer in terms of level of cleaning? and picking up small particles?
Answer: If you are doing dry sweeping, use the Bona microfiber dusting pad. I used to use a swiffer, and can't believe how much more I pick up with the bona. I still use a small brush and dustpan for picking up the larger crumbs that don't stick to the duster's surface. Also, it's washable, so no more swiffer cloths going to the landfill. I use this microfiber cleaning pad when I am wet mopping. I sweep first, so there isn't much for this to pick up. -
Question: I was wondering about the size dimensions of the Bona microfiber pads and how it attaches to the mop? Thanks much
Answer: I just measured one and it is 5x17. The package states they are made to fit a 4x15 mop head. They use a velcro system to attach. -
Question: Is there a difference between these "Bona®MicroPlus Starfiber Flat Pads" and the "Bona Microfiber Cleaning Pads"?
Answer: hi! i don't think so, the cleaning pads are just older.then they came out with the flat pads, but you can look online to see the difference.as long as you have washable microfiber pads you are fine.. i use them on the wooden floors..i have two of them,one wet with cleaner & one dry, to dry the floor..thanks! -
Question: can i use these to spread polyurethane on new sanded floors?
Answer: No, this is not the recommended method to spread polyurethane. Bona Microfiber Cleaning Pads are meant to be used with Bona Floor Cleaners and not finishes. Bona Customer Care Center -
Question: do these pads drag on hardwood floors when wet?
Answer: We use ours damp with the Bona hardwood floor spray and it does a great job and does not drag. -
Question: I have a different mop can I use the Bona microfiber cleaning pads. It is like a swiffer dry mop.
Answer: The Bona pads/mop use velcro or something similar. The swiffer's I've seen, you wrap the pad around the head and poke the excess thru a hole on each side. The Bona pads wouldn't work. -

Question: Does this fit the BonaKemi WM710013348 Hardwood-Floor Spray Mop with Replaceable Cleaner Cartridge?
Answer: Yes, it does fit that Bona Mop. That is the same mop I own. -
Question: For use on vinyl kitchen floor?
Answer: Bona does make a formula for LVT (a vinyl type of flooring) and I use these pads with that formula. -
Question: Can I use this pad with Swiffer mop?
Answer: No- this pad sticks to the bottom of the bona mop because of velcro on the bottom of the mop. Its also way too wide for the Swiffer mop.
