Question: What color are the led lights? can u explain what each light is used for?
Answer: It has three modes, cold, warm and mixed light.when using to view words I chose a different light mode according to the material I'm reading off of. When using Bright on a glossy page it reflects back at you, That's where the more dim yellow color comes in better. But if your using on a news paper the brighter light works better. -
Question: Is the lens itself made of real glass or plastic?

Question: Is the light bright enough to see small print?
Answer: I think it should be. I have used it on the brightest setting to help me identify tiny seeds from a seed packet so I assume it would help with very small print. -

Answer: No, 2x or 3x at most.I Returned. -

Question: Can you see terpenes with this?
Answer: I bought this to read the teeny, tiny numbers inside a SIM card slot on an iPhone. It's OK for that, but just barely. -

Answer: I don’t have the original packaging, scrolling through product description, it looks like it was manufactured in China. -

Answer: It's a little less than a pound. I don't think it's that heavy, but it could feel like it if I were using it for an extended period of time. I use it mainly to identify small objects. Hope this helps! -
Question: Does it come with a protective case?
Answer: The one I received did not come with a case of any kind. -
Question: 30x is real?
Answer: I made a comparison of the JMH Magnifying glass against a 30x36 German hand lens and a 10x Magnifying glass. The JMH is not as strong as the 30x magnifying hand lens; but looks about twice as strong as the 10x magnifying glass. I am not an optician or a magnification expert; If you have concerns and need to be more exact re the magnification of the item you should decide for yourself if you want to invest in one. Or you might inquire with the JMH manufacturer to see how they arrived at 30x for their product.
