    Customer Questions & Answers

    • Question: Can this phone be used with a hearing aid?

Answer: Yes, this phone is compatible with most hearing aids.
    • Question: Is the foam handset cover removable?

Answer: No, the foam handset cover is not removable.
    • Question: How many memory keys does this phone have?

Answer: This phone has a total of six memory keys.
    • Question: How can I increase the number of rings?

Answer: I think that’s something you’d set with your answering machine or voicemail account. If you don’t have one of those set up, the phone should keep ringing until the caller hangs up.
    • Question: Can this phone block certain calls?

Answer: No, the TerryPhone does not have a call blocking function. You can contact your telephone service provider who may be able to assist you with that.
    • Question: Were a cord and instruction manual supposed to come with the phone?

Answer: Yes, a cord and manual should have been included in your package. We are very sorry if this was not the case. We will of course get you a replacement straight away. Please get in touch and confirm your details. To contact us: Go to Your Orders. Find your order in the list. Select Problem with order. Choose your topic from list displayed. Select Contact seller.
    • Question: How can I get a manual? i somehow lost mine and need to know how to program the speed dial buttons.

Answer: The seller can provide you with a digital copy. To contact the seller: Go to Your Orders. Find your order in the list. Select Problem with order. Choose your topic from list displayed. Select Contact seller.
    • Question: My mother is in an assisted living where you have to dial a 9 to get an outside line. Is that programmable?

Answer: Yes, the memory buttons can be pre-programmed with any number you like, so putting a 9 at the start is no problem.
    • Question: Is there a on/off ringer switch...need to turn off ringer

Answer: The TerryPhone ringer volume has 3 settings: OFF-LO-HI. To switch the ringer off use the black switch found on the right side of the phone beneath memory picture buttons. Switch this to the left - OFF position.
    • Question: How many phone numbers can you program to the phone

Answer: You can store 3 numbers into one-touch photo memory keys, and a further 10 numbers with two-touch memory storage. So you can program 13 phone numbers in total.
    • Question: What is meant by two touch phone calls?

Answer: It’s a way to save extra numbers as speed dial option. You can assign a phone number to each digit button, so that when you press the auto button and then that digit button, it dials that assigned phone number. The three memory buttons at the top are one touch (press it once and it calls). The phone numbers saved to the digit buttons require you to press two buttons, so they are two touch.
    • Question: When the handset is lifted from its cradle is the dial tone automatically there. Conversely, when you hang up does the phone shut itself off?

Answer: Poor performance. No dial tone. Only speaker.
    • Question: Help ! Any suggestions to adjust the volume ? Our phone did not come with any paperwork or manual , Thank you.

Answer: Volume control button is on the side of the phone, it just a small slide button and it can only be up loud or down low. We found out their is no in between. Good luck.

Big Button Phone for Seniors - Corded Landline Telephone - One-Touch Dialling for Visually Impaired - Amplified Ringer with Loud Speaker for Hearing Impaired, Ergonomic Non-Slip Grip reviews by customers

    Decent Phone, but Some Limitations
I got this phone for my elderly aunt, and while it's decent, there are a few limitations. The big buttons and one-touch dialing are helpful, but the amplified ringer could be louder. The ergonomic grip is comfortable, but the phone could use a better speaker for improved sound quality. It's an okay option for seniors, but there might be better choices out there.

    Helpful Phone for Visually Impaired
I purchased this phone for my visually impaired father, and he finds it very useful. The big buttons with high contrast labeling make it easier for him to see and dial the numbers. The amplified ringer and loudspeaker are great features for the hearing impaired as well. The non-slip grip provides added security. Overall, a good phone for seniors with disabilities.

    Great Phone for Seniors
I bought this phone for my elderly mother, and it has been a lifesaver. The big buttons and one-touch dialing feature make it easy for her to call her friends and family. The amplified ringer is loud enough for her to hear, and the ergonomic grip ensures she can hold it comfortably. Highly recommended!
