    Does the job
    The pumice stone does a good job of removing pills from wool items. The trick is to be deliberate and gentle. The handle glued onto the stone is convenient, although from the looks of the way it's attached, I'm not sure how long it will stay glued on.

    I was a little nervous about this. But it worked great on all my cashmere, wool basically everything.

    Pumice stone
    I was "influenced" to purchase a sweater stone, instead of using a disposable razor. The sweater pumice stone is easy to use, but I do find the wooden handle slightly too large to fit comfortably in my hand, thus making it a bit unwieldy. In short, very gentle strokes, drag the stone down your garment. The stone will do a good job of removing pills, which will then get stuck to the stone or get pushed further down the garment. I just used a lint roller to remove the pile of pills. Pill pile LOL Upon removing the stone from the box, be aware that pumice stone dust will come out and get everywhere including your eyes, hair and mouth! You may want to remove it over the trash can or outdoors :) Ten bucks for a pumice stone seems like a lot, but didn't want to risk my garment being ruined if I used a foot pumice stone, for example. Overall I think it's a worthwhile investment for your wardrobe.

    This thing actually works!
    This thing actually works! I was hesitant because it did not seem easy to use and the thought of using pumice stone on my sweaters sounded like it would cause more damage. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it is easy to use and very effective. I had used an electric fabric shaver in the past, but was irritated to find out that I could not purchase replacement blades. I felt like my money had been wasted. This item requires no parts or batteries to be replaced and has potential to last a lifetime! Much more sustainable and affordable option for dealing with the fuzz and pilling of sweaters and other pieces of clothing.

    Make sure to rinse and let dry before use. Be very careful, especially with delicate knits.

    Much needed for sweater
    I had a bunch of sweaters that had those little balls on them. Using this, along with a lint roller, has my sweaters looking brand new! The handle is a great feature too!
