Answer: The size is 3/4 Inch. -
Question: What mesh size?
Answer: Mesh size is not the diameter of the screen, as stated in the previous answer. It refers to the to the fineness of the screen- essentially the size of the holes. A 40 mesh indicates 40 holes per linear inch, while a 100 mesh would have 100 holes per inch, with proportionately smaller holes. So the higher the mesh number, the finer the screen. Most standard pipe screens are 60 mesh, which I find tend to clog up pretty quickly in today's world of resinous smokeables, but finding coarser screens (I'm currently looking for a 40 mesh) is a difficult search.
