Question: Can I be completely sure it will not damage the aids with rechargeable batteries?
Answer: It will not harm them and was recommended by the hearing aid manufacturer -
Question: Will this product dry out the hearing aids if I accidently wear the aids in the shower?
Answer: This depends upon your hearing aids. Mine are supposed to be rather water resistant. I went snorkeling wearing them for a few minutes in the water before I discovered them. They were totally inoperative. After running several cycles wtih this product they worked fine and still work fine. -
Question: How does the drying (dehumidification) quality compare to known desiccant-based devices such as global ii and drymax uv?
Answer: I can’t give you a direct comparison, but I have been very pleased with the results of this unit at coastal locations in South Carolina and Oregon, both spots with lots of humidity. The heating definitely does the job, in my opinion. -
Question: Can this product use 230V supply voltage?
Answer: On the power adapter it says Input 100-240v Output 5.0v I don't know if this answers your question -

Question: The blue light does not light when I plugged in the box? What should I do?
Answer: The only things to do that I can think of are: Make sure both ends of the cable (Lux box & outlet) are fully connected. Press the white button on the front of the Lux box while it is fully connected. If it lights up, you are good to go. If it does not light up, contact the Lux folks because it appears you have a defective Lux box. -
Question: Does this dryer require a drying brick?
Answer: No. This is my 2nd Lux dryer in my 20 years of wearing hearing aids. I have not needed a drying brick. In fact, I'm not sure I know what one of those is. -
Question: The blue light only stays on a couple of minute's?
Answer: The blue "on" light on my Perfect Dry LUX stays on for about 45 minutes, periodically dimming and bright, during the dry cycle. As I understand it, this is normal. The light will turn on briefly every time the lid is opened and closed. But the bright light is only on during the dry cycle. -
Question: Does it work with AirPods Pros and do you leave the rubber earpiece on?
Answer: It would UV sterilize them, and dry any moisture in them, but that's about it. The heated airflow is about 113 degrees, and is not going to cause any problems with the rubber earpiece that I'm aware of. Hearing aids have rubber tubing and it clears the moisture out of those without issue. -
Question: Is this okay for the Oticon Ponto 4?
Answer: Read your manual. Otherwise yes.
