Question: does it contain sugar?
Answer: This wheat grass does not contain sugar as far as I can tell, how ever keep in mind young grass especially spring grass may contain a substantial amount of natural sugar. Cold nights and warm days will cause the sugar content of grass to spike, all depending on when the harvest occurred. Grass grown in the summer months has much less sugar content. -

Answer: I don't know as I've never put a magnet to my food before. Maybe it's there's IRON in the wheatgrass?
