Question: Are these cotton?
Answer: I don’t know. It doesn’t say on the package. -
Question: Are these really shiny & feel like the plastic bags in produce sections of grocery stores? Or less shiny and can barely tell the film is there?
Answer: Yes, they are quite shiny and non-absorbent. They would not stick to a wound, which is what they are intended for. I have used them after applying a soft, sterilized gauze to a wound. This would prevent any blood, etc. seeping through.
