Answer: Not from China! :) The French Maritime is sourced from the Mediterranean. The Certificate of Analysis (COA) says, "Mediterranean", rather than a specific country, because the raw material is sourced from multiple countries in the Mediterranean area. -
Question: Is this 350mg Pycnogenol?
Answer: Pycnogenol is a registered trademark name for French Maritime Pine Bark. The raw material used in this product is generic (not trademarked) version of the identical material. -
Question: Is this white pine bark??
Answer: White Pine Bark is also known as Pinus albicaulis. Our product is French Maritime Pine Bark, also known as Pinus Pinaster. As for the actual color, our product is brown with a slight red tone. -
Question: The capsules were pale white, the first time i bought this product. Now they are brown. Why is this so? Have the ingredients changed?
Answer: The material inside the capsules is the exact same color, and is the exact same raw material, with the same potency and same benefits. The previous lot of French Maritime was made with white capsules, and the most recent lot was made using clear capsules. Thus, what you are seeing as "brown" capsules is actually clear capsules, and you can see the brown powder inside the capsules. -
Question: I see it contains rice powder, does it makes you gain weight?
Answer: No. The amount of rice powder in each capsule is so small that the total calories in the rice powder are only a small very small fraction of a calorie, which is so little that's negligible and close to 0. -
