Question: Will this work for makeup application on myself if I place it in front of a large mirror?
Answer: I wouldn't recommend it. It's made for close-up work when drawing, doing crafts, or reading. I think it would distort your image if you put it in front of a mirror. There are glasses you can buy that have tilt-up lenses for applying makeup. -
Question: What is the large clip that came with mine for?
Answer: The clip is to use in lieu of the base plate. You can attach it to the edge of a table, or some other such object as desired. -
Question: Does this come with 4x magnification? I don’t believe 3 x would be strong enough.
Answer: As far as I know only 3X magnification is available. I would let MagniPro know your preference. Perhaps they have a stronger magnification or would be interested in providing a 4x magnification if demand was great enough. -
Question: how long is the cord that plugs into the wall?
Answer: About 65” -
Question: the ideo shows a ton of glare..is the glass really anti-glare?
Answer: I have had no issues with any glare from screen. I use this all the time. -
Question: Can I use this with a computer And still type ?
Answer: never tried in computer yet. I only use it for reading.. maybe you can try it and if u dont like just return. -
Question: How do you clean this device?
Answer: I use a damp soft cloth or eye glass cleaner to clean this light. -
Question: Are the led's daylight (6000k ish) or some other color? wanting to use something like this for hobby painting and light color matters.
Answer: Daylight. Very nice for reading or crafts. -
Question: Do you have to keep this plugged into the wall or does it run on a charge or batteries? i do not want to keep it plugged in to use it). thx!
Answer: You have to use a power pack or plug it into an outlet
