    • Question: Can you put a piece of paper under this lamp and write your name while it is magnified

      Answer: You should be able to do this with any magnifying glass. I would say anything you write would be magnified as you write it.
    • Question: What type of power does this lamp need and would it work with 220V/50Hz power?

      Answer: It uses a standard 120 volt outlet but it does use a USB adapter. You can also use an external battery with USB ports and run it off the battery which is useful if I am out camping and don’t have access to 120v power.

      Answer: About four to six inch
    • Question: is this product available with a 2.25X magnification and a stand (not clamp)?

      Answer: This unit has a flat bottomed stand that sits on a table and the lamp/magnifier are inserted into the stand. No clamps involved.

      Answer: No. It comes with a usb to 120v adapter. But you can also just plug it in to a usb battery pack and run it that way as w

    Poor packaging.
    The unit arrived in a very dirty box. When I opened it the base and several parts including the switch were coated in dust. I had to clean it with cleaning solution and a wet cloth. Very disappointed with the packaging. The unit worked as stated.

    Mostly good
    Negatives: - The product was dusty, finger smudged, and grooves were present in the metal pieces where movement takes place (e.g. arm into base). In short, it seemed like someone had used it for a while which is disappointing considering it was supposed to be a new purchase. - I wish the lens was higher quality - I'd gladly pay more for less distortion and a more even view across the lens Positives: - Arm is sturdy and I'm really glad I got the one with a base. The arm moves well and stays put well. - Lens is good enough and just the right amount of magnification for what I'm using it for. - Light and light levels are good; I appreciate not being able to notice any flicker Overall: happy with the purchase, just wish for more quality and a new/clean product would have been appropriate.

    Not very well built
    Using for shoe repair. Like the light . Magnifier needs to be adjusted too close to the work piece. All in all will do for my purposes.

    Lamp Light
    The little box on the base of the light is supposed to hook on those little prongs. Two prongs came broken so the box is useless. Nonetheless. this light is nice and the base is sturdy.
