    Overview

    Simple and effective for removing hard and gas permeable contact lenses. Moisten the cup of the DMV Traditional Remover and gently touch it squarely on the contact lens. The contact lens will adhere to the soft suction cup and will come off the eye easily. After the lens is removed from the eye, gently slide it from the suction cup. Comes with tough clear plastic storage tube.

    • Question: Why i can not return the item? It does not work on the contact lens and hurt my eyes as i try to remove the lens

      Answer: From personal experience, whenever your eyes are dry and hurts, it is probably because you didn't add enough saline solution-and it's dry because it was in your eye for a long time. So, put lots of saline solution on it, it will help.
    • Question: Where was this manufactured?

      Answer: DMV Corporation is in Zanesville Ohio, but I don't know if the lens remover is manufactured there.
    • Question: what size is this tool

      Answer: Container is 1.5". The remover itself is 1 1/8" in length. Diameter of remover is less than 1/4" which is small enough to attach to my lens without touching my eye. Make sure to follow the directions to moisten the plunger surface first. Very convenient size. I bought several for my purse, the bathroom and my travel kit.
    • Question: Do these have holes in the bottom/base close to where you hold the plunger?

      Answer: No. They are solid. There is a very small invention in the base.
    • Question: Can I use this to remove synereyes hybrid contact lenses hard and soft combined

      Answer: Yes - I've used the DMV brand for several years to remove my SynergEyes hybrid contact lenses. I've never been good at pinching them from my eyes. Just moisten the suction cup before using; I find moving the plunger and contact to the side slightly helps them come off much easier, even if your eyes are dry.
    • Question: Has anyone tried these with soft lenses?

      Answer: it works pretty well with soft lenses, the problem is w the hard lenses which is what i currently u
    • Question: Is there a hole in the middle?

      Answer: No hole in middle. Just a small rubber suction cup on end that easily removes hard contact lenses. A simple solution that works.
    • Question: What is the length of dmv ultra hard contact lens remover - orange?

      Answer: The length of the orange remover is 1-1/8 inches long . The case is 1-1/2 inches long. These work well for the intended purpose. I would recommend purchasing several .
    • Question: I can’t use this. I’m trying to remove my contacts but they don’t come off. Help?

      Answer: Plungers have a difficult time forming a suction on a dry lens. Try adding some saline solution to your eye and/or to the plunger. If your lenses fit tightly, break the seal by pressing down on the edge of the contact using your lower lid. To remove the plunger from your contact, simply slide the plunger off of the edge of the lens.
    • Question: I wear dailies and lately they just wont go in, would this work as an applicator?

      Answer: I believe these are made just for hard or gas permeable contact lenses, not the daily ones. I don't believe this applicator could get proper suction on the softer lens. Sorry.

    Use appropriately. Read the label
    The media could not be loaded.  If you watched the video, you know what my issue is. I didn’t read thoroughly enough to see these are for hard contacts. I wear soft lenses. Of course i had to try these tho. This device sure sucked into the contact AND my eye. I could have removed my eyeball. No thanks i need them. Prob great for hard lenses but I’d still be careful.

    Life saver
    When contacts have glued themselves to your eyeball this is the only thing that saves me from tearing my eyes out. Just use with caution.
