    • Attach the Lumaserter Plus to a flashlight. Place the contact lens in the center of the contoured cup.
    • Turn on the pen light and gently move the lens toward the open eye using the illuminated center of the cup as a guide. Hold the eyelids open with the other hand and place the lens on the cornea.
    • Once the lens has adhered to the eye, remove the Lumaserter Plus
    • You can choose to place the device on a fingertip instead of a pen light

    DMV Lumaserter PLUS for Scleral (Hybrid) Lens Instruction: Put the Lumaserter Plus on a penlight. Place the contact lens on the center of the contoured cup. Follow the preparation instruction provided in the package. Turn on the pen light and gently move the lens toward the open eye by using the illuminated center of the cup as a guide. Hold the eye lids open with the other hand and place the lens on the cornea. Once the lens has adhered to the eye, withdraw the Lumaserter Plus The device is contoured to fit the end of most pen light If patients prefer, they may choose to place the device on the end of a finger instead of a pen light The ribs in the cup are designed to provide further guidance and an elevated surface for the lens to rest on. The ribs will also prevent the lens from adhering to the Lumaserter Clean the Lumaserter frequently with warm soapy water and allow it to air dry Please keep this product away from liquid such as hand cream, hair gels and nail polish remover. Keep this and all other medical devices away from small children. This product is not recommended to be used with diseased or injured eyes. Caution: Though there is no evidence of allergy issues with this product, it does contain dry natural rubber. It does not contain liquid latex which has been shown to cause allergies. Lumaserter

    Short useage lifetime
    The actual tools design is extremely helpful for new scleral users. But the light went out in under 2 weeks

    The tool is helpful, flashlight sucks
    This is a really great ideA. I have to downgraded the rating to 4 stars because of the cheap Go Army flashlight. I replaced it with a thin, rechargeable LED light with a switch.

    Cheap and works
    With long acrilic nails it's hard for me to get my contacts in but this worked! I will agree that it does not make removing contacts easy at all only use it to put contacts in

    Not easy to use
    This product has potential but it is a bit difficult to use because of it's angle. The reason I purchased it was because of the light at the end which helps insert scleral lenses. I tried to get use to the angle but wasn't too successful.
