Question: does it smell?
Answer: The bed pad itself doesn’t smell however Its made to absorb so I’m going to say yes, when it’s visibly wet saturated /soaked with urine and No, not so much if it just get a little damp from a little leakage from a soiled brief I always put into the washer once it gets soiled even a little just so I don’t ever have to worry about smells. Question: Weight limit ?
Answer: I've used them with a 300 pound patient. I only use it as an underpaid and to pull patient up in bed. I can help patient start a turn to the side. I don't know about lifting off bed. -
Question: Can drying damage the backing on these? I have bought bibs and other underpads which could be washed/dried on low and the backing is breaking down.
Answer: I only air dry for that reason I don’t want it to become brittle.
