Question: where are these made?
Answer: I have 3 boxes of different sizes. All 3 boxes have Made in China printed on them. An additional note, this product was recommended to me by a neighbor who, in his case, was given the product by his dermatologist after surgery. My neighbor felt it helped the healing process. Question: I need a bandage for growing Collagen, will these allow new growth?
Answer: Hydrocolloidal bandages are for wound care. I used mine for a weeping spider bite. My husband used them for several pressure sores after a hip fracture. Collagen is produced by the human body, but less so as we age. If you’re asking about a product to reduce signs of aging, i.e. wrinkles, suggest consult with dermatologist. They do collagen injections in areas of wrinkled skin but it isn’t permanent. And it can be expensive even for touch-ups. -
Question: How thick are these bandages?
Answer: They are not thick and bulky. They are about the thickness of a standard gauze bandage. -
Question: Do they stay on or do I have to use tape with them
Answer: They absolutely do stay on even through a shower. Mine average about four days. You just want to make sure there is no lotions or anything near the area you’re putting it on. If you have alcohol rub a little bit around the wound and this will make it stick even better but let it dry good before you put the nice full on. -
