    • Question: how many lenses - one or 2?

      Answer: This magnifying glass with lighting feature, is a single glass, hand-held device. There is only one lense. However far or near you hold the magnifying glass from the object that you're magnifying determines just how much magnification is achieved.
    • Question: how big is it?

      Answer: It's about 9 inches or so long and about 4 inches wide at the lens. batteries go in handle which is about 1 1/2 inches wide. Heavier than normal magnifying glasses to hold but sure shows more light on the paper for elderly to read.
    • Question: Must the magnifying glass button be held down in order for the light to stay on?

      Answer: No, the switch slides up and stays there to keep the light on. Just know that the glass is quite heavy and I think the magnification is too high - makes things sort of blurry.

    I Love it! Ease on the eye
    Ease on the eyes and nice and bright, especially nice when lights are low or off in the house! I bought 2 so I could have them on both floors.

    Fair for the cost
    I love the LED lights . It really helps your ability to see. Having another light source nearby though, made it difficult to use, due to glare issues. The optical quality is fair. It's not glass... So you can't expect it to be spectacular. I like it for examining coins, but I am sure I will find many uses for it as time goes on.
