    Not bad for the price, but does not compare to a real Sonicare. Switching the brush head helps.
    My $200 Diamond Sonicare went to the toothbrush holder in the sky. I guess I shouldn't be too mad since it lasted 5 years. When I decided to opt for a cheaper alternative, I went with the Aquasonic because of its ADA approval. The unboxing experience was great! Nice packaging. Came with a free travel size of their nighttime charcoal toothpaste. And I really like the travel case and charger stand much better than Sonicare's. I usually would be happy about the large quantity of replacement brush heads, but for me, the brush heads are the reason for removing one star from the rating. The brush heads are just too soft to feel like they are giving me a thorough cleaning. I know if the bristles are too hard and abrasive it is bad for the enamel, so perhaps the softer brush heads are better for the teeth and gums. I, however, love the Sonicare brush heads. They feel like they are able to reach around each tooth and sweep along the gumline. I did pop the Sonicare brush head onto the Aquasonic handle, and it seems to fit well enough. The other reason I dropped down another star is because the Sonicare had a more intense vibration and seemed to have a larger variety of sonic vibration settings and patterns. I do like the Aquasonic Clean and Massage settings. To me, those are the strongest settings on the Aquasonic and they equate to the weakest settings on a Sonicare. All in all, I'm going to keep the Aquasonic. Plus my dad randomly had an extra Oral-B that he bought from Sam's Club, so when I want a more intense clean I opt for that brush. May sound weird to use two different toothbrushes; but heck, Aquasonic has two different toothpaste. I will say I like the Day and Night toothpaste. I went ahead and bought two tubes of the Nighttime toothpaste since two tubes of the Daytime formula came with this Aquasonic purchase. Both Aquasonic toothpaste have a mild taste which is nice, especially since more traditional toothpaste seem to be artificially flavored and overpowering. I don't think fluoride calcifies the pineal gland or the third-eye. My psychic abilities are still on point. Hoteps notwithstanding, I'll probably switch back to regular toothpaste on occasion since I don't believe fluoride is evil, and I understand its restorative properties on tooth enamel.
