Answer: Yes, I would definitely say this would be safe for newborn clothes and would use it on my own if I had a newborn. This is very gentle softener and anyone with sensitive skin can use it, including newborns. I recommended it before and never heard of issues. -

Question: I’m confused. what is a he machine? i’ve never heard if it!
Answer: Most washers are now he (high-efficiency) they use less water. he machines have the initials "he" within a circle on the panel. Laundry detergents and softeners that labeled he are ok to use in he washers. However, most are also ok for non he machin -
Question: Is this tested on animals still?
Answer: First you have to get it out of the bottle before it can be tested on animals or anything else. It is just a big hard clump. -
Question: Will this product reduce the effectiveness of sweat wicking/sport fabric/ gym clothing?
Answer: Because it does not pour, you can use it to work up a sweat by lifting it. Remember to test it in the thirty day return period. -
Question: Can Downy be used on cotton jockey briefs successfully? Jockey says do not use fabric softeners on them.
Answer: I’m not an expert but I never use fabric softener when I wash my bathing suit because the washing instructions that came on the bathing suit said not to. I believe it’s because the fabric softeners relaxes the elastic in the suit. -
Question: Does this smell as nice as the ones with perfume?
